Actor chileno. Desde muy joven su profunda voz lo haría un popular intérprete radial. Apenas teminados sus estudios secundarios fue invitado a participar del grupo teatral Ictus, famosa agrupación de la que formaría parte hasta 1973, año en que se exilia en Venezuela.
Autorizado a regresar a Chile en 1984 vuelve con su esposa, la también actriz María Elena Duvauchelle, y juntos estrenan varias obras importantes las que le han valido numerosos premios tanto en Chile como en el extranjero.
